| Personal thoughts: We have had the pleasure of living in Solon for the last six years and discovered it was better then I had remembered. I did my student teaching with Mr. Solberg several years ago. I enjoyed the experience at Solon and really enjoyed the area. We feel very fortunate to be living and working in such a great district and location.
Professional thoughts: I have always lived by the philosophy "there is no such thing as a bad kid" and yes sometimes they make us mad. It's not the kid I'm mad at, it is the behavior. I hope all students understand that. The trick is to change the behavior without harming the student.
Professional goal: We all must be concerned with student achievment. The staff is working hard to meet the needs of all students. We must insure that every student feels safe and connected to the school. We will strive to create circles of friends for every student and at least one adult advocate for the student to relate to.
